The Heirloom Summer Edit No. 2
The best masque, 18k golden symbolic ants, the hazelnut berry cake recipe of our dreams, the chicest blown-glass fly trap, and a Venusian pearl anklet...

This past week has had me reflecting on what a classic and wholesome summer truly means for my children. We’ve been picking endless ripe blackberries on our ranch, and seeing the red juice all over their faces brings me so much joy. Each day, we stroll across the street to the beach, enjoying crabs, and seashell foraging. When the front door is open, it becomes a portal to the golden field before us, followed by the whitecaps of the sea folding onto the rocks—mystical caves nestled within them.
It’s been foggy enough here for evening fires, and we’ve had a good amount of time connecting with the community we love. I’ve been spending my days daydreaming about the restoration and design process of this Victorian house. We recently met with a wonderful cattleman who may begin running cattle on the 200 acres, bringing the ranch back to life. Angus in the back pastures and Highlands in the front.
Yesterday’s full moon was mine—a Capricorn moon—which has me reflecting deeply on the heirloom life—not led by ego or accomplishment, but by the things that authentically fill me up. If the structure and all of my achievements melted away, what would remain? Me—the purest form of myself—and what lights me up. So I wanted to share another heirloom edit of the beauty and treasures currently bringing me inspiration and joy.
